Overview:

Plaster of Paris bandage/POP bandage, a gauze bandage coated with plaster of Paris. The bandage comes wrapped around a plastic spool, which is designed to allow rapid and even wetting upon immersion. Once wet the bandage sets, forming a hard and rigid structure that is both porous and absorbent.

Application: immobilize joint or limb fractures, applied as a slab, splint, or full cylindrical cast.

Features:

Raw material: Gypsum (calcium sulfate) hemihydrate, quality cotton gauze (the 40S, Warp 29 x Weft 20)
Colors: White (natural) or other colors with non-toxic food pigment.

Storage:

Store in a cool, dry, and dark place. Avoid direct sunlight.

Caution:

1. Do not use the POP bandages if the package is damaged.
2. Discardย the device after use. The device is meant for one-time use only.
3. The storage areas need to be well ventilated and free from corrosive gases.
4. It should be well equipped with fire and rat prevention, moisture, and pest control facilitiesย and do not store at extreme temperatures.
5. Do not use it if it is over its expiration date.
