Silicone Impression Materials — A-Silicone Putty Kit & Single Body Types | Bulk Supplier China | CE ISO
Silicone impression materials from Shanghai Even Medical — addition-cured A-silicone (vinyl polysiloxane) supplied to dental distributors, dental labs, clinics, and OEM buyers worldwide. Core raw material imported from Germany. Available as a complete Putty Kit (heavy body base + catalyst + light body) or as individual body types. CE and ISO certified, with MSDS available. OEM and private-label programs supported. Item No: E50013.
Why A-Silicone (Addition-Cured) Impression Material?
- German-Origin Core Material — Vinyl polysiloxane raw material sourced from Germany for consistent quality and performance batch-to-batch.
- Superior Dimensional Stability — ≤0.15% linear shrinkage; dimensional change within 0.3% after 24 hours and after 336 hours (14 days). Impressions can be stored and repoured multiple times without distortion.
- Exceptional Elasticity Recovery — >99.0% recovery of elasticity after removal from undercuts, significantly reducing impression distortion even in complex crown and implant cases.
- Low Compressive Deformation — <1.0% maximum compressive deformation, ensuring accurate marginal detail reproduction.
- High Tear Strength — ≥6.5 N/mm (heavy body), reducing impression tearing during removal from deep preparations.
- Addition Polymerization — No By-Products — Unlike condensation silicone, addition-cured A-silicone releases no alcohol by-products during setting, preventing shrinkage and ensuring long-term dimensional accuracy.
- CE & ISO Certified — Class I medical device with full regulatory documentation for import submissions.

Impression Techniques
Dual-Mix (Two-Step) Technique — Most Common
- Mix putty base and catalyst by hand (30 seconds) until uniform color is achieved.
- Load putty onto tray; simultaneously inject light body along the gingival margin and preparation.
- Seat tray in mouth; hold until fully set (3 minutes at 23°C).
- Remove in line with long axis of abutment teeth; rinse with water.
- Allow impression to rest 30 minutes before pouring with Type III or IV dental stone.
Correction (Reline) Technique
- Make initial putty impression; trim incomplete areas with carving knife; create pressure relief channels.
- Inject light body onto initial impression; reseat in mouth.
- Time between initial and final impression must not exceed 30 minutes for reliable bonding.
One-Step Technique
- Load heavy body on tray; simultaneously inject light body around preparation or implant transfer.
- Seat tray immediately; hold until set.
Clinical Applications
- Full arch and quadrant impressions for crowns and bridges
- Inlay and onlay preparations
- Implant-level and abutment-level impressions
- Orthodontic study models
- Dental veneer impressions
- Occlusal registration and bite records
- Denture impressions and soft lining
- Implant model gingival masking (lab use)

For alginate impression material, see our Alginate Impression Material page (E50001–E50003).
Precautions
- Do not use rubber or latex gloves during hand mixing — use polyethylene gloves only. Sulfur compounds in natural rubber inhibit platinum catalyst and prevent curing.
- Do not interchange putty base and catalyst lids — cross-contamination will inhibit curing.
- Do not mix with condensation-type silicone or polyether impression materials.
- Keep cartridge mixing tip attached between uses as protective cap; replace with new tip before next use.
- Not for use in patients with known silicone allergy.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the MOQ for silicone impression material kits?
MOQ is 36 boxes (3 cartons) for standard Putty Kits. Single body type cartridges are available — contact us via Quick Quote with your required body type and quantity for a specific MOQ and pricing.
What is A-silicone and why does it matter?
A-silicone refers to addition-cured silicone rubber (also called vinyl polysiloxane or VPS). Unlike condensation silicone, it cures via addition polymerization with a platinum catalyst, releasing no by-products. This means no post-cure shrinkage, superior dimensional stability over time, and the ability to repour the same impression multiple times — critical for implant and precision restorative work.
Why is the core material imported from Germany?
The vinyl polysiloxane base polymer is sourced from Germany to ensure consistent molecular weight distribution, viscosity control, and platinum catalyst compatibility — factors that directly affect setting time consistency, elasticity recovery, and dimensional accuracy across production batches.
Can I order individual body types without the kit?
Yes. Heavy body, light body, bite registration, soft liner, extra light body, transparent, and gingival mask are all available as individual 50ml cartridges. Contact us with your required body type, quantity, and any OEM requirements.
How long can I store an impression before pouring?
A-silicone impressions maintain dimensional accuracy for up to 4 weeks (336 hours) at room temperature, with dimensional change within 0.3%. It is recommended to wait at least 30 minutes after removal from the mouth before pouring dental stone.
What type of dental stone should be used with these impressions?
Type III or Type IV dental stone is recommended. See our Dental Stone page for full specifications. Type IV super hard stone is recommended for implant and high-precision cases.
Is OEM available?
Yes. Custom putty colors, kit configurations, box design, logo printing, and multi-language labeling are all available. Minimum quantities apply — contact us for OEM program details and lead times.
What certifications does this product carry?
CE marking, ISO certification, and MSDS documentation. Class I medical device classification. Full regulatory documentation available on request for import submissions.
